where her work is with adolescents and adults, on a variety of issues
including loss, depression, relationship exploration, transitions, boundaries,
and self-expression. She has extensive knowledge and experience working
with people who suffer from anxiety. Paula has given workshops on understanding
and managing anxiety for individuals suffering from this infliction and
as well for those health professionals who work with these clients. She
has developed a workshop for the performing arts, which has been presented
to music students at UBC, Trinity Western University and Vancouver Community
College. She approaches counselling from a mind/body integrative and
holistic perspective, employing relaxation techniques, cognitive approaches
as well as being influenced by humanistic and existential philosophies.
Her passion is accompanying clients on the path inward towards alignment
with the authentic self. If the mind, body and spirit work in harmony,
there is a sense of well being, inspiration and flow.
